Cold-pressed natural vegetable oils may vary slightly in scent and colour. The opalescence or sediment appearance of vegetable oil does not indicate a quality defect. Some plant oils may become solid or sedimentary at room temperature, in which case gentle heating will return the oil to a liquid and homogeneous state. Ask a qualified aromatherapist for advice on the use of plant oils.
It can be used in a blend, or on its own in a face oil, mixed with massage oil, or as a body oil.
Because of its oleic acid composition, grapeseed oil is suitable for supporting the balanced functioning of the body and normalising cholesterol levels.
For therapeutic use, consult a qualified aromatherapist.
