An anti-inflammatory, analgesic, moisturising plant oil.

Long lasting use reduces scars, stretch marks, age spots. It is a powerful wound healer, regenerator, excellent for treating eczema, psoriasis, shingles.

Its vasodilator effect makes it an excellent treatment for skin with vasodilatation and rosacea. It is an important active ingredient in pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory oil mixtures for the relief of joint, muscle and nerve pain.

Calabash oil is a sedimentary, thick, hard-flowing oil at room temperature, ranging in colour from golden yellow to dark green. When condensed, holding the sealed bottle in the palm of the hand for a short time or placing it in a lukewarm water bath will cause the oil to become runny again.

Can also be used during pregnancy.

Can also be used during breastfeeding.

For use from newborn age.

Cold-pressed natural vegetable oils may vary slightly in scent and colour. The opalescence or sediment appearance of vegetable oil does not indicate a quality defect. Some plant oils may become solid or sedimentary at room temperature, in which case gentle heating will return the oil to a liquid and homogeneous state. Ask a qualified aromatherapist for advice on the use of plant oils.

It can be used in a blend, or on its own in a face oil, mixed with massage oil, or as a body oil.
