Lemongrass aromatherapy water, like the herb lemongrass, is an excellent harmonising and balancing herb. It is recommended for all skin types because it enhances the natural normal processes in the skin, making it a natural skin beautifier.
It is excellent for use from infancy onwards, e.g. for nappy rashes, but you can also put a tablespoon of hydrosol in the bath water of a restless baby.
It can be used in a mixture or alone, misted on the face or body, applied with cotton wool.
Can be used as a toner after washing the face. As part of your daily beauty routine, wipe your face twice daily with a cotton pad dampened with aromatherapy water after washing your face, then apply a facial cream to suit your complexion.
Before applying face oil, wipe your face with a cotton pad dampened with aromatherapy water, then gently massage the nourishing oil into damp skin.
Lemongrass Aromatherapy Water mixes well with other aromatherapy waters.

When bathing babies, add a tablespoon of lemongrass (melissa officinalis) hydrosol to the water in the baby bath.

Diaper rash treatment
For a baby's bum that is chafed, mist the baby's bum with lemongrass (melissa officinalis) and then use Sunshine Ointment. Repeat for each nappy change if necessary.
