Lavender is one of the most commonly and widely used essential oils of all essential oils, and can be used even with newborn babies.
It can be part of the home remedy for families with small children, as it is suitable for minor wounds and bruises (disinfection, anti-inflammation, pain relief), sunburn, insect bites and to help them fall asleep easily.
Thanks to its linalyl acetate and linalol content, it is extremely skin-friendly and can be used in concentrated form, but it is also a common ingredient in body oils and facial care products for its skin-restoring, anti-inflammatory properties.
Essential oil with analgesic, soothing, hypotensive, de-stressing and anti-inflammatory properties.
These effects can be used in baths, body care and in the treatment of illnesses. It can also be used to treat minor burns, insect bites and skin irritations.
Can be used in a mixture, applied to the skin, in a sniff bottle, vaporised.
Insect bite treatment: 1 drop of Lavandula angustifolia essential oil
Apply to the bite site, repeat every half hour until the bite is no longer tight. The next day, treat the sting site 3 times.
Soothing bath: 15 drops of Lavandula angustifolia
If you want to calm down and see the situation more calmly, take a warm bath. When the bath is full, drizzle the essential oil over a large tablespoon of salt, soak it in the water and enjoy the calming, relaxing, temper-calming effects of lavender.

Side effects and interactions are not known. Do not apply the product to open wounds and beyond the expiry date. Do not use if the product is damaged. Care should be taken to avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes (mouth, nose). For external use only! When using essential oils on the skin, we recommend mixing them with vegetable oil to avoid irritation.

Treatment of minor burns
For minor burns, apply a few drops to the burned area every 5-10 minutes for the first half hour, depending on the size of the area, then 6 times a day. The following day, rub the skin with Lavandula angustifolia essential oil 5 times. From the third day, mix 3-4 drops of essential oil with Calendula officinalis macerate and apply to the affected area.
