This chemical type of thyme essential oil is an excellent cardiac and skin tonic essential oil.
It has excellent antifungal properties due to its geraniol content, and has therapeutic effects similar to those of geranium and palmetto essential oils.
It has uterine astringent and uterine tonic properties which support the labour process and should be avoided by pregnant women for the same reason.
There are plants from which several chemical types of essential oils can be extracted. These include rosemary and thyme. This difference is indicated by the abbreviation ct. behind the plant name. The chemical type of essential oil that can be extracted from a given plant depends on the number of hours of sunshine, the soil, the surrounding plant population and the amount of rainfall. The chemical type of the essential oil determines what effects it has, what problems it is effective in treating and what its contraindications are, so this information is essential for effective and safe aromatherapy treatments.

2 ml thyme ct. geraniol essential oil (Thymus vulgaris ct. geraniol)
1 ml essential oil of palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii)
2 ml tea tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)
1 ml sesame oil (Sesamum indicum)
Apply 3x2 drops of the above mixture daily to the nail fungus. Regular and long-term treatment is particularly important for the effectiveness of nail fungus!

1 part thyme ct. geraniol essential oil (Thymus vulgaris ct. geraniol)
You can use it either vaporized or drizzled into massage oil on the entire hip area during childbirth. Dose carefully as this is a very sensitive condition, so gradually increase the number of drops.
