A valuable extract of marigold cold soaked in olive oil, which has soothing, wound healing, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, combining the beneficial effects of cold pressed olive oil and marigold.
Itis excellent for dry, sensitive and inflamed skin, but its moisturising and firming properties also make it an excellent choice for ageing skin.
Especially recommended for sunburn, rashes, eczema, ulcers and wounds. As you can see, its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties mean that regular use will improve almost any skin problem, so it can be used as a body oil, topically for therapeutic purposes or as part of a facial.
It can be used in a blend, or on its own in a face oil, mixed with massage oil, or as a body oil.

Burn wound treatment
2 ml Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia)
10 ml calendula macerate (Calendula officinalis)
For minor burns, apply a few drops of lavender essential oil (lavandula angustifolia) to the burned area every 5-10 minutes for the first half hour, then 6 times a day, depending on the size of the area. The following day, rub the skin with lavender essential oil 5 times. From the third day, apply the above mixture 5 times a day.
