It is a vegetable oil with a particularly high essential fatty acid content and its efficacy in the treatment of atopic dermatitis has been scientifically proven.
Regenerating, nourishing, soothing, moisturising and elasticising. Its soothing action makes it suitable for the treatment of all itchy skin conditions. It is particularly recommended for the treatment of dry, mature, sensitive skin conditions and for the nourishment of mature skin when used in mixtures.
It can be used in a blend, or on its own in a face oil, mixed with massage oil, or as a body oil.
Due to its oleic acid composition, borage oil is suitable for the delicate balancing of severe stress and hormonal changes.
